Evening Elevator: timeless songs in settings past, present and future.

EVENING ELEVATOR

is the songwriting and production team of Tim Segreto and Dub Sonata. True modernist visionaries, their music contains the best from all genres and is confined in none. Using everything from classical instruments to obsolescent electronic devices, their music is an entrancing dreamscape of symphony-size epics and eloquent lyrics.

Their solo efforts have been released to critical acclaim from Rolling Stone, Complex, and The Miami Herald, and featured in motion picture scores and commercial campaigns for Adobe, Chevrolet, and Victoria's Secret. While Segreto's Populus debuted on KCRW's nationally acclaimed radio show Morning Becomes Eclectic, Dub Sonata produced for the likes of Jidenna, Rhymefest, and Sage Francis, after releasing his own genre-blending Nights in Cuba LP. His strict attention to detail provides a perfect balance to Segreto's untainted musical reverie.

Evening Elevator's electro-acoustic hybrid is a feast for the senses, and the soul. With songs ranging from lighthearted and jubilant to melancholic and pensive, their emotionally stirring melodies and kaleidoscopic tones craft a mesmerizing journey of innocence, tragedy, and love.

Evening Elevator takes you on an entrancing journey above the clouds in the video for their debut release Higher. Filmed by Dub Sonata, Higher feels like a waking dream, allowing you to take flight over the fog-laden hills of northern California. It opens with a soothing bed of synths and strings, soon evolving into an infectious vocal melody over hard hitting drums.

Inspired by an era during which human interaction has been stifled to mostly digital communications, Evening Elevator’s second release Let’s Get Connected is both timely, and relevant. It features an uplifting Rhodes melody and subdued arpeggiated synths, coupled with lyrics that outline the human desire — and need — for connection.

Evening Elevator’s third offering Sweet September is a lullaby ode to the onset of autumn. Its haikuesque lyrics rest on a bed of soothing violins, cascading piano melodies, acoustic guitar, and a playful electric bassline that craft the perfect soundtrack to seasons' change, beginnings and ends, old loves and new ones, and the bittersweet departure from summer to fall.
